It was good to spend a week in Maggie Valley, N.C. last week with the family and get some R and R. There was stream was right by the cabin we stayed in and you could listen to it running all night. It was good to feel a 50 degree night again, it was good to sleep in on a king size bed with no alarm clock and I didn't watch the news all week. It was good to experience a long hike along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a place where it's about as quiet as it gets and I even got to see a bear. It went by too quick.
